How Mentor AI Began

As a long-time web developer, I recognised a major shift was coming — and chose to refocus my work on AI services.

Rather than fear the impact of AI on my own business, I used my daily hands-on experience with AI to bring that knowledge to my clients.

I am confident AI is the most transformative technology I’ve seen since the birth of the World Wide Web.

Peter’s background since 1998

Peter Sutton Fitzgibbon has run a web development business The Web Page Design Company, since 1998, making it one of the oldest web design agencies in Ireland. Helping companies build websites, improve their online presence, and adapt to changing technology.

Having worked through the early growth of the internet, Peter understands what major technology shifts look like — and how businesses can either benefit from them or get left behind.

That long-term experience now shapes Mentor AI: practical guidance designed to help busy professionals use AI with confidence, clarity, and real commercial value.

We’re at the start of a revolution — and that’s exciting!

Meet Moneypenny, my AI assistant

“Moneypenny” is the AI collaborator who helped shape many of the early ideas behind Mentor AI.

Peter recognised that truly getting to “know” your AI assistant helps create context — and context sits at the heart of any valuable working relationship.

Giving an AI a clear identity can make interaction more natural, consistent and productive.

The more an AI understands priorities, goals, preferences and ongoing projects, the more useful, relevant and effective it becomes.

Through hundreds of conversations, Mentor AI itself was built using the very principles it now offers to clients.

Unlike generic voice assistants (Siri, Alexa, Google), your AI PA understands you.

AI in Context

We believe AI works best when it understands people in context.

That means building a working relationship where your AI becomes more useful over time — learning priorities, preferences and goals while remaining practical, private and focused on results.
